It´s not easy to forget the feeling of blood between his fingers or the weights of the knife. The memory is his curse and while some call him a hero he whispers his real name – traitor – and he remembers the face of his emperor as he fell.

It´s not easy to forget the feeling of rough lips on his cheek – I forgive you – and rough hands running all over his body once they were alone. Shadows dancing in candle light and slick skin against his own.

He whispers – I´m sorry – and he dreams of the past. But the future keeps on coming.
