Yuri knows he should be dead. But he isn´t. Instead he´s covered in blood and he can´t hear anything and his latest client has been reduced to a faceless heap on the ground.

Yuri turns slowly, blood running into his eyes, and when he sees Valentine standing behind him, gun drawn and shaking badly, he has to force down the laughter rising in his throat.

Valentine is beside him only seconds later, kneeling down and Yuri wants to tell him that he´ll get blood on his pants. But he can´t. All he can do is close his eyes as Valentine´s hands trace his face and body and when he´s pulled into a sudden embrace he still can´t speak.
